The Maneki Neko is traditionally believed to bring good luck, prosperity, and protection to its owner, making it a common sight in businesses, restaurants, and homes across Japan and beyond. A black Maneki Neko is thought to be particularly good at warding away bad luck, and the right paw being raised is said to attract wealth.
