GSPR
General Safety and Performance Requirements
This guidance relates to the European Union (EU) Regulation on General Product Safety 2023/988 (the ‘GPSR’).
The Regulation amends the product safety provisions in EU Regulation No 1025/2012 and Directive 2020/1828 and repeals the General Product Safety Directive 2001/95/EC (GPSD) and Directive 87/357/EEC.
Products available on the market before 13.12.2024:
The GPSR includes transitional arrangements for products that are already on the market. Article 51 of the GPSR ensures that products already on the market that are compliant with the 2005 UK GPSR as it applies or applied before 13 December 2024 shall continue to be made available. This includes existing stock of product lines that are already on the market. MSAs therefore cannot impede supply of these products if they continue to comply with the 2005 UK GPSR unless they are dangerous products.
Gametee Ltd is committed to ensuring that all products within its portfolio comply with the General Safety and Performance Requirements (GSPR). This compliance ensures that every product is designed, manufactured, and distributed in a manner that prioritises user safety, product performance, and regulatory adherence. Gametee Ltd maintains a robust framework of technical documentation, risk management, and quality assurance practices, ensuring alignment with the required standards. As part of its compliance strategy, the company engages in comprehensive evaluations, post-market surveillance, and continuous monitoring of product performance. Gametee Ltd designates a Responsible Person within the EU, who serves as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, ensuring proper documentation, labeling, and market readiness. By adhering to these stringent standards, Gametee Ltd demonstrates its dedication to product integrity, consumer trust, and regulatory excellence in the European market.

GAMETEE IS AN ETHICAL, SUSTAINABLE AND ECOLOGICALLY SOUND BUSINESS. OUR COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT AND TO OTHERS INCLUDES:
Gametee uses garments that are certified by WRAP - Worldwide Responsible Apparel Production - to create our range of videogame clothing. WRAP requires that all production is made under lawful, humane and ethical conditions with all due adherence to environmentally conscious production methods. Regular independent monitoring by acknowledged testing authorities ensures that standards are maintained throughout the production process.
We are committed to clean, responsible production and manufacture. This includes using exclusively non-toxic production methods, including water based dyes, vegetable based inks, and use of natural and sustainable materials.
Our supply chain is made up of hundreds of fairly paid individuals and a purchase from Gametee directly supports not only our independent business, but a further network of carefully selected suppliers and craftspeople. Wherever possible, we utilise hand-crafted production techniques, including hand-silk screening every gaming garment to ensure quality and individually tailored luxury.
We offer proper financial support and accreditation for our videogame artists, partners, and our workforce.
All deliveries we receive are carbon neutral. We exclusively use fully biodegradable packaging.
We recycle all suitable waste to minimise our environmental impact.
Right to Refuse Service
We retain the right to refuse service in instances of attempted fraud or where a high risk of fraud is detected. We have a zero tolerance policy towards abuse of our staff; instances of abuse may result in a permanent refusal of service.
Personalised or Signed Goods
We do not offer refunds on Personalised or artist-signed goods, unless these goods are demonstrably faulty.
LEATHER GOODS
Gametee has a commitment to ensuring that leather goods - such as our gaming wallet - come exclusively from 100% ethically responsible sources. Our leather products are created from high quality recycled leather remnants which contributes to minimising waste - no animal is ever sacrificed for a Gametee product. All Gametee leather is tanned using non-toxic vegetable dyes and engraved or embossed in a clean, precise, and ecologically sustainable process. It is very important to us that you love your Gametee videogame-inspired wallet or other product. Leather is durable and robust, and can last a life time if correctly cared for.
Leather is a natural material and is subject to change over time. Consistency and depth of colour may change with daily use. This change is inherent to the natural beauty of leather and should not be considered a fault. Whilst occasional exposure to water and rain is not a problem, leather is not waterproof.
